About Us

Paxos Appeals is a company founded out of Stanford and backed by leading VCs. Haley, our CEO, spent seven years at Medtronic in engineering, product management, and business development roles. Our other teammates have experience building technology (including AI) at Meta, Microsoft, and various startups, and they’ve been founders of multiple organizations. We are also advised by industry experts with extensive experience in the medtech, patient access, and software spaces.

Over the past 18 months, the team has helped patients secure over $2.5 million in medical care, achieving a >90% overturn rate on insurance denials by leveraging insurers’ own clinical policies, patient medical documentation, and available literature. Haley gave a talk at Stanford about their work helping patients.
